You will know if you hired the right agent if they can intelligently talk to you about social media marketing. It shows a clear indication of how good of a marketer they are.

I’m not saying, “USE ME USE ME”(well, sort of), but just make sure you ask the right questions because there is a reason 90% of the business is done by 10% of the agents. A Good Realtor has a real marketing plan for your home.
Most of the statistics show that the seller always sells for more money when listing with an agent. This is the only reason Realtors still exist. We know how to sell your house fast!
When you list your property for sale, make sure you have a full online marketing plan for the property. It’s your job to make sure the agent you hire knows how to do a lot more than put a sign in the yard and put it up for sale on the MLS.
